About the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony

Founded in 2008, the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony is a nonprofit performing arts organization committed to enriching the cultural life of our community through engaging, artistically excellent concert experiences. The ensemble also fosters the continued growth of its musicians and actively supports music education throughout the region.

The ensemble is comprised of more than 50 accomplished musicians, including professional performers, music educators, and highly skilled amateur artists. The ensemble presents four formal concerts annually, in addition to performances at community and special events. With a strong commitment to advancing the wind band repertoire, its programming spans a diverse range of styles—from cornerstone works of the wind band tradition and orchestral transcriptions to Broadway, film, television, and popular music.

Education and community engagement are central to the organization’s mission. The Delaware Valley Wind Symphony collaborates with local schools through interactive programs, sponsors an annual scholarship for students pursuing music studies at the collegiate level, and proudly offers free concert admission to all students and children.

Through innovative programming and a dedication to artistic excellence, the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony continues to connect with audiences and inspire a lasting appreciation for live music.
